Lava Hound is a flying tank that only targets buildings. When it dies it bursts into a pack of Lava Pups, and it's the backbone of air beatdown decks.
How to play
Send Lava Hound from behind your King Tower and add air cards behind it like Balloon, Minions, Mega Minion or Skeleton Dragons. While the Hound soaks damage, the cards behind it clear the defense. The Lava Pups it releases keep the pressure going.
Tips
- Adding Balloon behind Lava Hound is a classic, very strong combination.
- Plan to reset your opponent's Inferno Tower with Zap or Lightning.
- Defend the ground with cheap cards like Guards or Tombstone and save your elixir for the air push.
Strengths
- Defenses that can't hit air can't touch it.
- Even after it dies, the Lava Pups keep up the pressure.
Weaknesses
- Very low damage on its own; useless without support.
- Inferno Tower and strong air defense can answer it.
