Miner Poison Control is a control deck that wins through constant chip damage rather than big pushes. Miner can pop up anywhere on the map, and Poison damages both the tower and the troops defending it. The rest of the deck builds a solid, cheap defense.
Game plan
Defend first. Inferno Tower handles tanks, Valkyrie and Electro Wizard handle ground swarms and support troops, and Bats and Spear Goblins provide cheap air defense and cycle.
After defending, send Miner to the tower to support your surviving troops or just to deal direct damage. Poison the troops your opponent places against Miner to hit them and the tower together.
Matches usually go long. Build up small amounts of damage every cycle, keep your elixir lead, and use Poison to finish towers late.
Cards and their roles
Miner3 elixir Win condition. Can be placed anywhere; deals steady tower damage and can tank on defense.
The Log2 elixir Small spell. Clears ground swarms and Goblin Barrel.
Bats2 elixir Cheap air damage. Melts tanks and air troops quickly.
Spear Goblins2 elixir Cheap ranged damage. Hits air and speeds up your cycle.
Poison4 elixir Medium spell. Damages the tower and nearby defenders over time.
Valkyrie4 elixir Splash mini tank. Clears swarms and counterpushes with Miner.
Electro Wizard4 elixir Air-targeting support. Every hit stuns; resets Infernos and Sparky.
Inferno Tower5 elixir Tank-killing building. Stops big tanks.
Tips
Place Miner on the side of the tower where your opponent's defenders will arrive, then Poison them all together.
Use Miner on defense too: send it onto your opponent's backline troops to soak damage.
Place Inferno Tower before the enemy tank reaches the bridge.
When you're ahead, avoid risky attacks; control decks win with an elixir lead.
Strong against
Against beatdown decks: Inferno Tower and cheap defenses stop tanks efficiently.
Against swarm and bridge-spam decks: Valkyrie, Electro Wizard and The Log clean them up.
Struggles against
Against siege decks: Miner's damage may not be enough to take down buildings like X-Bow quickly.
Against decks with multiple Inferno resets and spells: if Inferno Tower is neutralized, defending tanks gets hard.
